How caption styling changes the video
Typography sets the voice before motion begins. A restrained lower third keeps interviews readable; a heavy uppercase face makes short-form hooks feel louder; serif and mono treatments can make documentary or tutorial captions feel more deliberate.
Highlighting controls where the eye lands. Word color, pills, underlines and karaoke progress can follow the active word, while phrase-level styles keep a full thought steady. Motion is a separate choice: fade and lift stay quiet, while pop, bounce, wipe and type-on make the timing more visible.

Will a style link overwrite my saved draft?
No. Your draft opens first. Applying the style is an undoable visual change; starting a new project keeps the saved draft recoverable until the new project successfully saves for the first time.
