Questions
01What can I do with the free subtitle generator?
You can generate and edit one video without signing up, with up to 10 minutes per video, all 33 styles, 720p export and a small watermark. If you create an account, the Free plan includes 60 minutes of subtitle time each month.
02Do you keep my video?
No. Your video file stays on your device. Only the audio is sent for transcription, and it is deleted afterwards. Exports render in your browser.
03What if it misses words?
Some always slip through — fast speech, accents, background music. The difference is you don’t have to hunt for them: every word the model was unsure about is flagged in the text and marked on the timeline, and silent stretches with no subtitle are outlined too. You fix the three that are wrong instead of rewatching twelve minutes.
04Can I click anywhere on the timeline to jump there?
Yes — click any point on the waveform or any subtitle block and the playhead, the caption list and the preview all move together. Drag a block’s edge to retime it. Nothing jumps somewhere you didn’t ask for.
05Can I add a subtitle where the AI didn’t put one?
Yes, anywhere — including before the first line, which is the one place most editors make hard. Every silent gap shows an Add cue button right where the gap is, so you never have to fight the timeline to get a line in.
06Can I edit the subtitles after generating?
Yes. Retype any word, nudge word-level timings, or re-transcribe just a selected range without redoing the whole file — and editing text never changes your styling.
07What video formats can I upload?
MP4, MOV and WebM, in landscape, portrait or square. Export as burned-in video, or as SRT, VTT or TXT.
08Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Generating and editing work on modern mobile browsers. Long or high-resolution exports are faster on a desktop.
